Oceanic themes resonated throughout the event, with Paul Stanhope's "Mahāsāgar" earning the Work of the Year: Choral title. Other notable winners included Alex Turley's "the ocean's dream of itself" for large ensemble, and Kate Milligan's "Dark Oceanography," recognized for Electroacoustic/Sound Art.
Performance accolades were highlighted by Dr. Lou Bennett AM and Paul Stanhope's First Nations collaboration, "nyilamum song cycles," winning Performance of the Year: Classical & Experimental.
