Miss USA and Miss Teen USA Pageants Yanked from The CW Days Before Broadcast

In a surprising turn of events, The CW Network has decided to cancel the scheduled broadcasts of the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA pageants just a week before they were set to air. The network made this announcement after discussions with the Miss USA Organization, stating, “After careful consideration, we wish the organization and all of this year’s contestants well in the competition.”
Previously, The CW had a three-year agreement to air these events, but faced challenges in 2025 when the pageants were streamed by the Queen Beauty Network instead. This year, the Miss Teen USA pageant was meant to premiere on August 26, followed by Miss USA on August 27, but that will not happen as planned.
The Miss USA Organization cited a “contractual issue” with production arrangements that could not be resolved in time for the live broadcast. Their statement expressed gratitude toward The CW and indicated a willingness to collaborate in the future, despite the setback.
