The iconic Wallabee from Clarks, a beloved footwear staple since the 1960s, is getting a modern twist through a collaboration with Moncler. This new model, named the Trailgrip Wallabee GTX, enhances the classic moccasin with advanced features tailored for outdoor adventures.
With its roots in comfort, the Wallabee has attracted diverse fans over the decades, from skaters to music icons. The latest iteration boasts Moncler’s Trailgrip Vibram technology, providing a robust sole perfect for navigating rugged terrains. Constructed from classic Wallabee suede, it also includes a waterproof Gore-Tex lining, ensuring practicality without sacrificing style.
Launching alongside the Moncler x Fragment collection, the Trailgrip Wallabee GTX comes in an all-black version featuring Fragment's branding. Hiroshi Fujiwara, the creative force behind Fragment, appears in the campaign, showcasing a reversible varsity jacket inspired by nature. The collection also introduces a ‘FRGMTmini’ line for children, emphasizing the trend of matching parent-child outfits. Priced at £630, the Trailgrip Wallabee GTX is available from Moncler stores and online starting August 29.
