The announcement follows a successful 18th season that crowned Myki Meeks as America’s Next Drag Superstar and saw the series garner an impressive 11 Emmy nominations, including RuPaul's 11th consecutive nod for outstanding reality competition program host.

The show continues to thrive, achieving double-digit viewership growth compared to the previous season and setting a new franchise premiere record. Additionally, Paramount+ has greenlit new seasons for the 'All Stars' spinoff, which concluded its 11th season in July with Crystal Methyd making history as the first winner of Mexican descent.

Alongside the primary series, the companion show 'RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked' has also received a renewal. World of Wonder Productions, which produces the series, expressed gratitude for the enduring support from MTV, Paramount+, and the vibrant community of queens and fans that have propelled 'Drag Race' into a global phenomenon.

Judge and producer Michelle Visage highlighted the significance of the show's message in today's political climate, emphasizing that a win at the Emmys would symbolize resilience and a commitment to representation in the entertainment industry.
