Naomi Watts to be Honored with Golden Eye Award at Zurich Film Festival

Naomi Watts, the acclaimed actress known for her compelling performances, is set to receive the prestigious Golden Eye Award at this year's Zurich Film Festival. This accolade recognizes her work in the upcoming film, The Housewife, directed by Ben Shirinian.

The film, which tells a gripping story from the 1960s, features Watts as the mysterious wife of a man suspected of being a Nazi officer, played by Luke Evans. The film will premiere at the Toronto Film Festival before its showing in Zurich.

Watts will accept her award on September 26 and participate in a masterclass at the festival. ZFF CEO Christian Jungen praised her ability to blend glamour with darkness, likening her talents to those of classic Hitchcock actresses. Previous recipients of the Golden Eye Award include stars like Kristen Stewart and Jude Law.
