Netflix Unveils Action-Noir Series 'The Shooter' Starring Lee Jung-eun and Kim Moo-yul

Netflix has officially announced the production of its action-noir series titled "The Shooter," featuring Lee Jung-eun and Kim Moo-yul in lead roles. This marks a significant shift for Lee, who is stepping into an action role following her success in the 2025 hit film "My Daughter Is a Zombie." Meanwhile, Kim is fresh off the success of the global favorite "Teach You a Lesson." The two actors previously collaborated in "Juvenile Justice" four years ago.

Directed by Lee Kwon, known for "A Shop for Killers," the series centers on Jeong Suk-ja, a seventy-something woman whose life takes a dramatic turn when her grandson is attacked, compelling her to take up arms. Kim portrays Seo Yeon-woo, her strategic ally in a quest for revenge against the powerful Chunghwa Group.
