The New York Film Festival (NYFF) is set to showcase the North American premiere of the poignant documentary "NAZA," directed by Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor. This film delves into the ongoing war in Gaza and is a significant addition to the festival's lineup, which runs from September 25 to October 12, 2026.

Having made its initial debut at the Venice International Film Festival, "NAZA" continues the thematic exploration of Palestinian-Israeli narratives seen in Abraham and Szor's previous work, the Oscar-winning documentary "No Other Land." This earlier project highlighted a collaborative effort between Palestinian and Israeli filmmakers.

In "NAZA," the filmmakers focus on the Israeli Defense Forces, with the title deriving from a military term that estimates civilian casualties in operations.
