Emerging architect Othmane Bengebara has made a mark with his studio in Morocco, recently being featured in the Wallpaper* Architects Directory 2026. Founded in 2020, the studio embodies a multidisciplinary approach to architecture and design, with projects ranging from residential to cultural and hospitality spaces.

One of the studio's notable creations is House Ddaar, a minimalist villa completed between 2023 and 2024 in Essaouira. This 300 sq m residence is nestled in a sprawling 25-acre agricultural landscape, designed as both a tranquil retreat and a venue for social gatherings. The layout features interconnected volumes that create distinct living spaces, each thoughtfully crafted to enhance the connection with the surrounding nature.

Bengebara, who has a rich educational background from institutions in Paris and Rio de Janeiro, emphasizes the interplay between art and architecture, aiming to evoke emotional resonance through his designs. House Ddaar incorporates sustainable features such as passive ventilation and solar energy, while local artisans contribute unique crafted elements throughout the home.
