Police Under Fire in Dera Ismail Khan: Four Officers Injured

In a violent incident in Dera Ismail Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, four police officers sustained injuries when their convoy came under attack by terrorists on Saturday.

The assault occurred in the Hathala area as the police, led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Kefayat, were moving near Pota and Al-Amin Farm House. The police engaged in a fierce exchange of gunfire with the attackers, resulting in their vehicle overturning and injuring the officers.

According to District Police Officer Ziauddin Ahmed, while one officer suffered a bullet wound, all injured personnel are reported to be out of danger. A large police contingent was dispatched to the scene for a search operation.
