In an unexpected twist to his 40-year dental career, a West Sussex dentist found himself in India, tasked with treating a bear named Jojo.
After years of routine procedures, he was called upon by International Animal Rescue's CEO, Alan Knight, to save Jojo, whose teeth had been severely damaged by poaching.
Without intervention, the bear faced a heightened risk of infection and pain.
