SKIN1004 Unveils Nature-Inspired Flagship Store in SoHo

SKIN1004, the Korean skincare brand, has launched its first U.S. flagship store in SoHo, New York, featuring a striking design that mimics natural landscapes. Spanning nearly 9,900 square feet over two floors, the store boasts a unique structure crafted from ultralight MDF, layered and finished with stained maple veneer.
The architectural firm LMTLS has transformed the space by removing the second floor, allowing for a dramatic double-height lounge that serves both casual visitors and events. As customers navigate the store, the ceiling's contours shift from low to high, creating a dynamic experience.
Central to the store's aesthetic is the Nature Wall, which integrates seating, product displays, and sales counters into a fluid, continuous design reminiscent of an eroded valley. This organic theme is complemented by a reflective Mirror Wall that enhances the sense of depth within the narrow retail space.
The store's ambiance is enriched with warm lighting and modern elements, including a gallery-like product presentation in the rear chamber. SKIN1004's flagship is open daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at 470 Broadway, inviting skincare enthusiasts to explore its innovative environment.
