Sky has officially announced the production of a second chapter in its acclaimed crime drama 'Under Salt Marsh,' featuring Rafe Spall as Detective Eric Bull. This new six-part series, created by Claire Oakley, is set to begin filming in a secluded Scottish village in 2027.

The narrative picks up with Bull's move to the village, where he delves into a murder investigation that intertwines with his own mysterious past. The first season, which premiered in January 2026, captivated audiences, amassing 2.5 million viewers within 28 days, making it Sky's most successful original drama launch since 'The Day of the Jackal.'

Elwen Rowlands, CEO of Little Door Productions, expressed excitement about returning to the series, emphasizing the rich atmosphere and character depth that resonated with fans.
