So Koizumi Unveils Sensory Exhibition in Seoul

By Editor • August 16, 2026 • 1 min read

Designer So Koizumi is making waves with his inaugural solo exhibition in South Korea, showcasing a unique blend of design, scent, and space at the 025S SEONGSU HAUS. This collaboration with POINTTWOFIVE·SECOND, a local scent brand, transforms the flagship venue into an immersive sensory experience.

The exhibition, running from July 22 to September 22, 2026, features Koizumi's works strategically placed throughout the space, allowing visitors to engage with them in relation to the brand's fragrance-infused environment. POINTTWOFIVE·SECOND emphasizes the emotional aspects of scent, intertwining it with art, tea, and design, enhancing the overall experience.

Koizumi’s designs are not merely displayed; they are integrated into the architectural fabric of the space, fostering a dialogue between the materials, structures, and olfactory elements. This innovative approach invites attendees to consider how design intersects with memory and atmosphere, challenging traditional perceptions of art exhibitions.

With photographs by Teo Josserand capturing the essence of the installation, the exhibition serves as a testament to Koizumi’s commitment to exploring the relationships between design, scent, and spatial engagement, marking a significant milestone in his artistic journey.
