A recent study has revealed that soda purchases among Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) beneficiaries declined by approximately 12% after new restrictions were implemented in 10 states. This change is part of the Make America Healthy Again initiative, aimed at promoting healthier choices.
The findings, published by the National Bureau of Economic Research, indicate that individuals consumed around 34 fewer 12-ounce cans of soda annually.
