Syrian Democratic Forces Merge with National Army

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) has officially dissolved, merging with the Syrian army in a significant shift following the collapse of Bashar al-Assad's regime in December 2024.
Founded in 2015 during the Syrian war, the SDF previously controlled vast northern territories. However, ongoing military pressures led to this integration with the national armed forces.
