Tragedy Strikes Bihar Temple as Six Die in Stampede Incident

In a devastating incident at the Ashok Dham temple in Lakhisarai, Bihar, six people lost their lives and several others were injured after an electricity pole fell, triggering a chaotic scene.

Shivam Kumar, a senior police officer, stated that the pole's collapse caused electrocution and a subsequent stampede among the gathered devotees. The incident occurred during the holy month of Shravan, when many flocked to offer water to Lord Shiva.

Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary expressed his sorrow over the tragedy, extending condolences to the victims' families and assuring that the injured would receive prompt medical care.
