The United States is intensifying its fight against drug trafficking by preparing to execute ground operations in collaboration with 19 partner countries, including Argentina. This initiative, announced by U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, aims to target narcotics groups wherever they operate.
This move builds on the aerial bombardment campaign launched by the Trump administration in September, which has already resulted in over 215 fatalities linked to drug smuggling activities in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific.
