Alaska Airlines Unveils Luxurious International Business Class on New Dreamliners

Alaska Airlines has launched its inaugural International Business Class cabin on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, marking a significant upgrade for its long-haul flights. This development aligns with the airline’s growing international footprint since joining the Oneworld Alliance in 2021, expanding its service to over 900 destinations globally.
The new business class debuted on Alaska's first non-stop flight from Seattle to Rome, with plans for routes to Seoul Incheon and Tokyo Narita soon to follow. The cabin features 34 seats arranged in a 1-2-1 layout, offering direct aisle access and fully flat beds. Designed by Elevate Aircraft Seating, the interior boasts privacy doors and elegant koa wood-patterned accents.
Passengers will enjoy amenities crafted by Filson, including premium bedding and a bespoke amenity kit filled with skincare products and travel essentials. Culinary offerings will vary based on destination, featuring dishes like traditional English breakfasts and Korean gochujang chicken. The airline promises an enhanced dining experience with options curated by award-winning Seattle chef Brady Ishiwata Williams, along with an extensive beverage selection. Additionally, Alaska Airlines plans to implement Starlink satellite service for high-speed Wi-Fi on these Dreamliners soon.
