Argentina Secures Chile's Support Against Falklands Oil Exploitation

Adrian Ravier, spokesperson for the Argentine presidency, communicated this position during a media briefing, emphasizing that this is a diplomatic approach devoid of military intentions, thereby ruling out any potential conflict with the United Kingdom. Ravier noted that the naval base set to be constructed in Tierra del Fuego will be entirely funded by Argentina, with no financial input from the United States or other nations.

Echoing this sentiment, Argentine Foreign Minister Pablo Quirno highlighted Chile's support for Argentina's claim over the Malvinas, stating that Chile has officially rejected any requests for logistical support related to oil activities in the islands.
