Bad Bunny Claims Emmy for Groundbreaking Halftime Show Performance

In a historic moment for Latin music and representation, Bad Bunny has secured his first Emmy Award, triumphing in the outstanding variety special (live) category for the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show. This event has been lauded as one of the most elaborate halftime presentations in Super Bowl history.

The show not only featured a star-studded lineup, including icons like Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin, but also embraced community spirit with real-life wedding celebrations and the participation of local business owners such as Villa’s Tacos from Los Angeles. With a total of seven nominations, the production team celebrated wins in multiple technical categories, including music direction, choreography, sound mixing, lighting design, technical direction, and directing.
