Balochistan Customs House Assault Claims Six Lives, 21 Terrorists Neutralized

By Editor • September 1, 2026 • 1 min read

A coordinated attack on the Customs House in Balochistan resulted in the deaths of six individuals, including five security personnel, on the night of August 31 to September 1. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that two officers and a Customs official were among the casualties.

The assault was described as an attempt by terrorists linked to Indian-backed groups, specifically Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij, to breach the Customs facility. Security forces responded quickly, engaging in intense firefights that led to the death of ten terrorists during the exchange.

ISPR indicated that operations to sanitize the area are ongoing, aiming to secure the safety of local residents and vital highways. Additionally, on the same night, another group of terrorists attempted to disrupt traffic on the N-40 Quetta–Taftan Highway but were met with immediate resistance, resulting in the deaths of eleven more terrorists.

The military reaffirmed its commitment to counter-terrorism efforts, as articulated in the National Action Plan, and vowed to tackle the threats posed by foreign-supported terrorism.
