Australian basketballer Ben Simmons has signed a one-year deal with the Sacramento Kings, aiming to revive his NBA career after sitting out the entire 2025-26 season due to back and leg injuries.
Simmons last played in the NBA in April 2025 with the Los Angeles Clippers and celebrated his new contract on social media. The deal is worth $US3.5 million (approximately $4.9 million AUD).
This move not only reignites Simmons's career but also positions him for potential selection in the Australian Boomers for the upcoming FIBA World Cup in Qatar and the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
