On September 19, Capetonians are invited to join hands for a noble cause as the Two Oceans Aquarium hosts a beach cleanup at Sunrise Beach in Muizenberg. This event is part of the global movement commemorating International Coastal Cleanup Day, aimed at combating the pressing issue of ocean pollution.
The Trash Bash team, along with Visions for Change SA, will convene volunteers from 9 AM to 11 AM for a morning dedicated to cleaning one of Cape Town’s most cherished coastal spots. Sunrise Beach, located within the False Bay Hope Spot, is recognized for its ecological significance, making it a fitting location for such an initiative.
