Tragic Accident Claims Child's Life, Six Others Injured Near Melbourne

A devastating single-vehicle accident in Parwan, located west of Melbourne, resulted in the death of a school-aged child and left six others injured this afternoon. Emergency services responded to reports of the rollover just before 4 PM, prompting a swift reaction from multiple ambulance teams.
Authorities confirmed that a child died at the scene despite attempts at CPR. One of the injured children was airlifted to the Royal Children’s Hospital in critical condition, while five others were transported to various hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
The injured included four children who were taken to the Royal Children’s Hospital, alongside two others who were transported by road to Western Hospital Sunshine. An adult involved in the accident was also taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital for treatment. Ambulance Victoria noted the deployment of extensive resources, including two Air Ambulance Victoria helicopter crews and numerous advanced life support paramedics.
