Chernin Entertainment is making significant strides in its film division by enhancing its executive team with key promotions and a new hire. The company has seen notable successes in both theatrical releases and streaming content this year, and it is now poised to expand its film slate even further.

Having spent over 13 years at Fox 2000, where she contributed to acclaimed adaptations such as “Water for Elephants” and “Life of Pi,” Paiva has a proven track record. Most recently, she developed “Lady Chatterley’s Lover” for Netflix and will produce “Broken Country” alongside Hello Sunshine.
Promotions Within the Film Division

He has been instrumental in overseeing projects including the much-anticipated “High Side,” featuring Timothée Chalamet, and the romantic comedy “One Month Mark” starring Jennifer Lawrence. Additionally, Samantha Nisenboim has been elevated to senior vice president, with notable credits that include “The Lego Batman Movie” and “The Tomorrow War.” Finally, Max Gains has been appointed as a creative executive, having previously worked at Paramount and 21 Laps on major films such as “Deadpool & Wolverine” and “Free Guy.”
A Vision for the Future
David Ready, head of the film unit at Chernin, expressed confidence in the new team, stating, “We have built a strong foundation and a slate we really believe in.” This restructuring comes alongside Chernin’s recent multi-year deal with Apple Studios and signifies a new chapter for the company as it aims to broaden its creative output across various genres.
