Congressman Claims Prince Andrew Committed Sex Crimes in the U.S.

In a dramatic accusation made on the House floor, Congressman Thomas Massie asserted that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, King Charles III's brother, engaged in sex crimes while in the United States. This claim arises amidst ongoing scrutiny of high-profile figures linked to the late Jeffrey Epstein.

Massie, a Republican who has been vocal about holding sexual abuse perpetrators accountable, invoked congressional privilege during his speech, stating, "Prince Andrew, who committed sex crimes in the United States." He urged the Department of Justice to take action against such offenders.

Mountbatten-Windsor, the former Duke of York, has consistently denied any allegations of sexual misconduct and has never faced criminal charges. Following a series of controversies, including a disastrous BBC interview, he stepped back from royal duties in 2019. The former royal was stripped of his titles last year.

The accusations are further complicated by historical ties to Epstein, who was known for his exploitation of young women. Virginia Giuffre, who passed away in 2025, alleged that she was trafficked to Mountbatten-Windsor and abused as a teenager. In her posthumously released memoir, she claimed he viewed sexual encounters with her as his entitlement.

While Mountbatten-Windsor was summoned to testify in a congressional panel investigating Epstein, he remains unbound by legal obligations to present himself, as he resides in England. The investigations into his alleged misconduct continue, adding layers to this unfolding saga.
