Doc Square 2026 Set to Connect Asian Documentarians at Busan Market

The Busan International Film Festival's Asian Contents & Film Market (ACFM) is gearing up for the highly anticipated Doc Square 2026, scheduled for October 10-13. This initiative aims to bridge Asian documentary creators with industry experts and is expected to attract significant participation from multiple countries.

Doc Square, which made its debut last year, has quickly become a pivotal platform for showcasing documentary projects still in production. This year, the event will feature collaborations with eight partner organizations from five different countries, emphasizing the importance of cross-border cooperation in the documentary sector.

In addition to the exciting lineup of documentaries, the festival will see popular South Korean actor Yim Siwan take the stage as the host for the closing ceremony.
