Dyson Launches Innovative Line of Smart Cleaning and Haircare Products

Dyson is making waves in the home appliance market with the introduction of a groundbreaking array of products designed to revolutionize cleaning, air purification, and haircare. At the recent Dyson Unveiled event in Berlin, the company unveiled 12 new intelligent machines, marking what they describe as a 'new era of intelligent machines'. Chief engineer Jake Dyson emphasized the integration of AI and machine learning into their product lineup, highlighting a shift from purely mechanical devices to smart machines capable of interaction and responsiveness.

Introducing the Nurovi Robot Range

At the forefront of this launch is the Dyson R3 Nurovi Spot+Scrub UV, a robotic vacuum cleaner that utilizes advanced AI stain detection technology. This machine can identify nearly 200 different household substances, employing ultraviolet light and laser-like illumination for effective cleaning. Other models in the Nurovi range include the R2 Nurovi Wash+Dry, which features innovative triangular mopping pads and a Twin-capture system for enhanced cleaning efficiency, and the R1 Nurovi Dry, designed specifically for dry cleaning of carpets and hard floors.

New Air Purifiers and Haircare Tools

Dyson also expanded its air purification offerings with the HushJet series, which includes the HushJet Big+Quiet Cool Pure+Formaldehyde. This model boasts a unique design inspired by aerospace engineering, delivering high airflow while minimizing noise. Alongside these, Dyson revealed new haircare tools, including the Corrale CoolShine straightener and the Airsmooth styling brush, both designed to enhance styling efficiency while reducing hair damage.

Pricing and Availability

The new Dyson products are set to hit the market at various times, with the R3 Nurovi Spot+Scrub UV expected in early 2027 and priced yet to be announced. The R2 Nurovi Wash+Dry will be available for £749.99, while the R1 Nurovi Dry is priced at £499.99. The HushJet air purifiers will be launched at prices ranging from £549.99 to £549.99, depending on the model.
