Ethnic Minorities in Hong Kong Positioned to Enhance Belt and Road Initiatives

During the Zubin Foundation’s Ethnically Diverse Youth Leadership Summit, officials emphasized the potential of Hong Kong's ethnic minority groups to contribute significantly to the city's engagement with Belt and Road Initiative countries.

The Labour Minister noted that these communities, with their rich multicultural backgrounds and diverse language skills, can serve as vital assets for Hong Kong as it seeks to strengthen connections with nations involved in the Belt and Road projects.

Speakers at the summit underscored that the unique perspectives and capabilities of these historically marginalized groups could facilitate the global expansion of mainland Chinese companies, tapping into new markets and fostering international collaborations.
