FIFA Hits Back at UEFA's Allegations Against Infantino

FIFA has publicly accused UEFA of orchestrating a "smear campaign" against its president, Gianni Infantino, in the wake of controversy surrounding the proposed Fifa Forward Enterprise (FFE) scheme.

This comes after UEFA filed legal documents in the US, requesting evidence related to Infantino's plans to sell World Cup stakes, which UEFA labeled as potentially fraudulent.

FIFA, in its response, emphasized that the FFE was merely a proposal needing majority support from member associations and proper FIFA Council approvals, criticizing UEFA for bypassing the democratic process.
