In an exciting blend of casual elegance and chic design, Gap is set to launch a new 37-piece collaboration with French label A.P.C. this Friday. The collection features an array of stylish options, including striped tees, rigid denim jackets, miniskirts, and essential cargo jackets, all available on Gap’s e-commerce platform and select stores across the U.S. and Canada.

Jean Touitou, the founder of A.P.C., expressed his enthusiasm during a Zoom call from Paris, emphasizing the significance of reaching a wider audience. "This is always what I wanted to do," he remarked, highlighting the joy of finally realizing his dream while still valuing his dedicated customer base. The collaboration came to life through a long-standing friendship with Zac Posen, Gap’s Executive Vice President and Creative Director, who facilitated connections that led to this exciting partnership.

Judith Touitou, Jean’s wife and creative partner, shared insights into the collaborative process, noting the ambitious approach to fabric selection and design details. "We gave them really ambitious research of fabrics, finishes, and details," she explained, reflecting on the smoothness of their collaboration. A.P.C., known for its commitment to minimalist aesthetics, aligns well with Gap’s focus on authenticity and timeless style, making this partnership a unique fusion of two different worlds.
