Garnier & Linker Unveils Outdoor Lighting Collection at Paris Design Week

By Editor • September 3, 2026 • 1 min read

In a groundbreaking move, French lighting brand Garnier & Linker is debuting its first outdoor lighting collection, 'Aurora', during Paris Design Week from September 10-19, 2026. Founders Guillaume Garnier and Florent Linker aim to merge their sophisticated indoor designs with the ruggedness required for outdoor settings.

'Aurora' reinterprets existing models like ‘Nezu’, ‘Kora’, ‘Teree’, and ‘Thea’, utilizing cast aluminum instead of traditional materials like bronze or plaster. This choice not only enhances durability but also offers a unique aesthetic that balances rawness and refinement.

Developed at their studio in Les Granges, near Fontainebleau, the collection maintains the brand's sculptural essence while embracing a more architectural and industrial feel. The design process included rigorous electrical testing and the creation of a compact power source, ensuring functionality for outdoor use. The founders view 'Aurora' as just the beginning, challenging established norms in outdoor lighting design.
