Jay Baruchel Stars in 'The Stunt Driver' Set to Premiere at TIFF

The Independent Film Company has released fresh stills from its upcoming comedy-drama, 'The Stunt Driver,' which will debut at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 10.

This mid-1970s tale follows Ken Carter, portrayed by Jay Baruchel, a Canadian stunt driver determined to achieve the impossible—a mile-long jump across the St. Lawrence River in a rocket car. Battling personal struggles and overshadowed by Evel Knievel, Carter's journey is both daring and poignant.

Directed by Michael Dowse, the film features Laurence Leboeuf as Carter's supportive wife, Gloria, and Ed Helms as technician Dick Keller. Scheduled for theatrical release on September 25, the film is produced by Film Cardinal and boasts an impressive executive production team.
