Kering has appointed Marilyne Trebus as its chief product officer, a role that takes effect immediately. Reporting directly to Carlo Mocci, Kering's chief client officer, Trebus is set to enhance the luxury group's operational capabilities.
Trebus joins Kering from Coach, where she served as chief merchandising officer and general manager for nearly 12 years. In her new position, she will collaborate with Kering's prestigious brands, including Gucci and Saint Laurent, to improve merchandising and product development.
Part of Kering's 'Reconkering' strategy, her focus will be on creating more agile, consumer-focused processes. Trebus, an ESCP Business School graduate, has an extensive background in luxury fashion, having previously held roles at Celine, Valentino, and Chloé.
This appointment aligns with Kering's broader initiative to bolster its operational efficiency under CEO Luca de Meo, following the establishment of new centers of excellence aimed at driving sustainable growth across the group.
