Midrand Business Complex Scene of Light Aircraft Crash, Two Injured

A light aircraft crash-landed in a Midrand business complex on Tuesday afternoon, leaving two individuals injured and triggering an emergency response from local services.
The incident took place in Randjesfontein, near the busy intersection of Old Pretoria Road and New Road. City of Johannesburg Emergency Management Services (EMS) reported that both injured parties were receiving treatment from private ambulances on the scene. Authorities, including the South African Police Service (SAPS) and Grand Central Fire, quickly arrived to manage the situation.
According to EMS spokesperson Robert Mulaudzi, the two occupants of the aircraft sustained injuries during the crash. Witnesses indicated that a bystander assisted the man and woman from the aircraft prior to the arrival of emergency responders. While both were treated for their injuries, their current health status remains unclear.
