In a playful twist, Samsung New Zealand has rolled out a new advertising campaign featuring a man named Tim Cook, who shares his name with the former Apple CEO. This ad comes just a day after Apple introduced its much-anticipated foldable phone, the iPhone Duo.
The ad opens with the New Zealand resident introducing himself: "Hi. I’m Tim Cook, from Palmy, and I’m reviewing my new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8." The resemblance to the tech giant is uncanny, and the ad cleverly mimics Apple’s signature promotional style.
As the commercial continues, this Tim Cook enthusiastically extols the virtues of the Galaxy Z Fold8, proclaiming, "the future is here" and declaring it "the best phone I’ve ever had" by the end of the spot.
