Smeg has officially launched its first air fryer, the AFC01 Dual Flavor Air Fryer, which also features an innovative built-in steamer. Initially debuted as a concept at Milan Design Week earlier this year, this sleek appliance is now available in four stunning colors: black, white, storm blue, and emerald green.
The AFC01 stands out in the crowded air fryer market with its generous 7.3-litre capacity and unique cooking options. Users can choose between two modes: Crispy and Juicy+Crispy. The Crispy mode ensures an even cook for breaded foods, snacks, and vegetables, achieving a delightful golden-brown finish, while the Juicy+Crispy mode cleverly combines hot air circulation with steaming to keep the inside of the food moist and flavorful.
Designed for ease of use, the air fryer features a flip-open top that operates at the touch of a button on its intuitive touchscreen panel. This convenient design allows for quick access to the frying basket, which is equipped with silicone handles for safe removal and cleaning.
