Soul Glo Set to Release New Album 'Na I’m Gon Grab Allat' This January

Soul Glo is poised to unveil their latest project, 'Na I’m Gon Grab Allat,' marking their first album since 2022. Scheduled for release on January 15 via Epitaph, the album follows their critically acclaimed work, 'Diaspora Problems.'

The upcoming album features an impressive roster of collaborators, including MIKE, Bbymutha, and Tunde Adebimpe of TV on the Radio, along with Eugene Robinson. Adding to the excitement, the band has released a new single titled 'February Theory,' featuring Mannequin Pussy, accompanied by a visually striking music video directed by Robert Silverstein that captures a chaotic bar brawl over a hot dog and an animated church funeral.

A Personal Dedication

Recorded at their hometown venue, Foto Club, with long-time collaborator Evan Bernard, 'Na I’m Gon Grab Allat' holds a special place for vocalist Pierce Jordan. He dedicates the album to anyone who has experienced the complexities of love in its many forms—be it platonic, romantic, familial, or self-love. The album's tracklist hints at a blend of joy and turmoil, prominently featuring four songs titled 'Resentment.'

Recent Activities and Upcoming Tour

Since the release of 'Diaspora Problems,' Soul Glo has kept a relatively low profile, yet they have made notable appearances, including a co-headlining tour with Zulu, a performance at Coachella, and becoming the first hardcore band to feature on NPR's Tiny Desk Concert series. Their latest single, 'If I Speak (Shut the Fuck Up),' was released in 2024, and the group is set to embark on a tour with Chat Pile, with Prize Horse and Shallowater joining them on select dates.
