Taco Bell is sweetening its dessert menu with the launch of the Salt & Straw Churro Ice Cream Taco, available nationwide starting September 1. Priced at $3.99, this limited-time offering showcases a crispy waffle cone shell filled with a new churro-flavored ice cream from Salt & Straw.
This collaboration marks the second year the two brands have partnered, following the success of last year's Tacolate. The previous dessert sold out quickly, prompting Taco Bell to expand availability this time around.
The Churro Ice Cream Taco is a delightful blend of textures and flavors, featuring a crunchy shell, a rich chocolate coating, and puffed rice for added crunch. The churro ice cream stands out with its cinnamon-forward flavor, enticing enough that many fans may wish it were sold separately by the pint.
In addition to this tasty treat, Taco Bell has introduced a secondary item: the Salt & Straw Choco-Waffle Chiller. This frozen drink, available only at select Live Más Café locations, combines vanilla ice cream with churro crumbles and waffle cone pieces, all topped with whipped cream and a chocolaty shell.
