The convention, aimed at rallying Republican support ahead of the 2026 elections, featured Cruz vehemently opposing Sharia law, a frequent target of Republican rhetoric.

As he addressed the crowd, Cruz stated, "Hear me now: Sharia law has no place in America," receiving enthusiastic applause and chants of "USA."
