Tofu Recall: Over 10,000 Cases Affected by Chemical Contamination

Attention tofu lovers: a significant recall has been issued for over 10,000 cases of Hodo's Chili Crisp Lightly Fried Tofu due to potential ink contamination.
The product, which sports the UPC code 850565007842 and has use-by dates extending to November 2026, was distributed across 29 states. Consumers are urged not to eat the tofu, which was sold in eight-ounce containers.
Hodo discovered discoloration during a product expansion, leading to tests that revealed possible migration of printing ink into the tofu. Affected customers can return the product for a refund or request a replacement voucher.
