Jackie Young contributed significantly with 18 points, six rebounds, and five assists. The decisive moment in the game came during a remarkable third quarter where Team USA outscored France 30-12, flipping a 45-43 halftime deficit into a commanding lead.

The turning point occurred early in the third quarter when the score was tied at 47. A quick 7-0 run put Team USA ahead, with key baskets from Stewart, Kahleah Copper, and Young. They continued to build on their momentum, eventually leading by as much as 17 points by the end of the third quarter.
