After a direct comparison, the Great Value product emerged as a surprisingly flavorful alternative, even surpassing the legendary name brand in several key aspects.
Appearance and Initial Impressions
Upon opening the cans, the differences between the two products were immediately apparent. Spam maintained the shape of its container, while Walmart's Luncheon Meat appeared chunkier, with loose bits of meat. This less uniform presentation, however, gave the Great Value product a more authentic look, resembling actual meat rather than a processed mass.
Taste Test Results
