Achyutam Designs Introduces Sculptural Carapace House Near Ahmedabad

On the outskirts of Ahmedabad, Achyutam Designs has unveiled the Carapace House, a striking farmhouse characterized by two monolithic concrete shells. This innovative design challenges traditional home aesthetics with its organic forms, where one shell provides communal living spaces while the other accommodates two private bedrooms.

The architecture seamlessly integrates with the natural landscape, featuring curved profiles that blur the lines between walls and roofs. Strategic cuts create thresholds that frame views and invite light while connecting the interior to the surrounding greenery.

Enhancing the experience are outdoor features like courtyards, gazebos, and a pool, all designed to extend living spaces into nature. Inside, the design philosophy continues with concrete furniture that melds into the structure, alongside polished Kota stone flooring that reflects the building's earthy palette.
