Madrid's Plaza de Colón Transformed by Vibrant Art and Design Showcase

From September 24 to 27, Madrid's Plaza de Colón is set to embrace a burst of creativity as ADN FÓRUM takes center stage for its fourth edition. This innovative event, organized by Asociación ADN FÓRUM and led by Gabriel Castillo Admadé, will convert the square into a lively venue filled with art, design, and temporary structures, all wrapped in eye-catching pink hues.
With a unique concept likened to a ‘dry port’, ADN FÓRUM features signature shipping containers transformed into artistic installations crafted by a collaboration of brands, architects, and artists. This year’s theme encourages participants to explore the intersection of creativity and public space, moving beyond mere product displays to create immersive experiences.
Among the standout installations is the interactive piece by Tarkett and Somos Carne, titled Siempre tuyo, el Universo, which delves into human origins. Additionally, collaborations like that of WMF and artist Marta Lapeña bring culinary design and art together, while Neolith and architect Alba de la Fuente present an architectural object that evolves in front of the audience.
The event also highlights the journey of design, exemplified by Revista Interiores and artist Sergio Mora showcasing the creation process of ceramic murals for a Miami restaurant. Maserati, celebrating a century of its iconic Trident emblem, adds a dynamic element with live painting and test drives of the Grecale.
Food and fragrance also play a pivotal role, with Panama featured as the Guest Country of Honor. Its Ventanas al Origen pavilion enriches the experience with stunning photography and sensory delights, including Geisha coffee and a signature fragrance. The ADN FÓRUM Café, designed by Fabián Ñíguez, offers a vibrant pink setting for visitors to indulge in sweets and beverages.
Ultimately, ADN FÓRUM invites the public to explore Plaza de Colón as an open-air exhibition, where art and design converge to create a festive atmosphere that celebrates creativity and community.
