In Pattern backyardPamela poh sin tan interprets the ambiguous ecologists of his public works broadly into impartial sculptures. Tan, who works underneath Poh Sin Studio, ceaselessly merges artwork and design ideas, and for this sequence of coral -inspired types, it beautifies paser metal coated with sand, with small calcium stone beads.
“Impressed by the etheric class of pure – choral techniques, roots, jellyfish, diatom – these works mirror my fascination for the refined and clever buildings of the pure world,” she says.

Beginning on the decorative traditions of his Chinese language-Malaysian heritage, the artist merges up to date strategies with timeless subjects of fragility, energy and sweetness. “Every bit seems like a dwelling fragment from a backyard of surreal corals a plant just like a texture just like the reef and intimately,” she says. “Collectively, they type a quiet ecosystem of imagined species suspended between nature and artifice.”
