Bonnaroo Festival to Pause for Recovery in 2027

By Editor • August 21, 2026 • 1 min read

The Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival will take a hiatus in 2027 to allow its venue, The Farm, to recuperate from extensive storm damage, including flooding that impacted this year's festival.

Festival organizers announced that the event, typically held in Manchester, Tennessee, will return in 2028. This decision comes after the 2026 festival faced significant disruptions due to severe weather, prompting safety measures such as set cancellations and area evacuations.

Despite recent improvements to the campgrounds and stage areas, including new drainage systems and roadways, the venue requires a break to restore its resilience, especially after consecutive years of storms. In their statement, organizers expressed that the decision was challenging but ultimately necessary for the festival's future health.
