In a remarkable recovery, China's Long March rocket family is back in action following a launch failure on August 10. Despite the mishap involving the Long March 7A, which disintegrated shortly after takeoff, the YF-100 engines have resumed operations.
A successful launch of the Long March 12 took place just six days later, showcasing the resilience of the engines. Anticipation builds as the heavy-lift Long March 5 is poised for an important mission, delivering the Chang'e 7 lunar lander to the Moon's south pole.
In a separate incident, Taiwan's prototype satellite launch vehicle experienced a trajectory anomaly, leading to its self-destruction post-launch. Fortunately, the National Chung-Shan Institute reported no injuries or damage.
