A tragic roadside bomb explosion in Mastung district claimed the life of a security official on Saturday, with six others injured. The explosive device, hidden along the Quetta-Karachi National Highway, detonated as security vehicles passed through the Khad Kocha area.
The impact of the blast resulted in the death of one official, confirmed by a senior police officer, while other vehicles were unharmed. Following the explosion, gunfire erupted as assailants fled the scene. Victims were promptly transported to Nawab Ghous Bakhsh Raisani Memorial Hospital, and a search operation is underway to apprehend the perpetrators.
