Devastating Nepal-Tibet Flood Claims 392 Lives, Hundreds Still Missing

As rescue operations continue, the death toll from the catastrophic flash flood in Nepal and Tibet has reached 392, with 389 fatalities reported in Nepal and three in Tibet. In addition, 466 individuals have been injured due to the disaster that struck on Wednesday.

Among the missing are 35 Australians, as officials express growing concern over the potential for a second flood. Two barrier lakes, one in Nepal and another in China, have formed and are at risk of overflowing. Nepal's disaster authority has issued warnings about rising water levels, while Chinese media report that 3 million cubic meters of water are expected to enter an already dammed lake.
